Jud and I enjoyed our first volunteer experience with the Green Lake Litter Patrol. It was a beautiful morning, with great people and the satisfaction of keeping our favorite park looking good. We have been walking around the lake several times a week for 15 years or so – giving a couple hours to clean it up was a very small price to pay.
